Laying the Foundation for Water Expertise

Rolfes Water's journey began in 1999 with the establishment of Professional Water Management (PWM). Recognizing the diverse water needs across South Africa, PWM strategically formed regional subsidiaries to provide localised expertise and support. These included dedicated operations in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, the Cape, Middleburg, Amanzi, Botswana, and even a specialised Manufacturing division for innovative water treatment solutions. Additionally, the acquisition of Tetralon strengthened our portfolio with advanced water purification technologies.

Formalising Expertise - PWM Becomes a Registered Private Company

Rolfes Water's dedication to excellence took a significant step forward in 2005 with the official registration of Professional Water Management (PWM) as a private company. This pivotal moment marked a shift from individual regional entities to a unified organisation, solidifying our commitment to providing exceptional water treatment solutions across South Africa.

In 2013, the Rolfes Group took a bold step towards consolidation and growth by acquiring all the regional Professional Water Management (PWM) entities. This strategic move marked a new era of unity and strength for Rolfes Water, bringing together the diverse expertise and resources of individual operations under a single banner, Rolfes Water.

Refining Focus - Rolfes PWM Emerges as a Dedicated Water Treatment Entity

Following the strategic consolidation of 2013, Rolfes Water further sharpened its focus in 2016 by formally registering Rolfes PWM as a private company. This move marked a deliberate evolution, establishing Rolfes PWM as a dedicated entity solely focused on the specialised field of water treatment.

Unifying Expertise, Refining Purpose - Rolfes Water Emerges

In 2017, Rolfes Group took a transformative step towards unification and purpose. Recognizing the immense strength in collaboration, the Group combined all its water entities under the singular banner of Rolfes Water.
